If you are interested in a Mitzvah Corps summer, but are anxious about the price point, read on!
Mitzvah Corps offers incredible social justice travel experiences for high school students, and we are committed to ensuring that finances do not get in the way of this opportunity. We have compiled some key tips that we believe will calm your nerves and take some burden off your wallet as you consider Mitzvah Corps for summer 2017.
#1: Take Advantage of our Early Action Pricing
If you register for Mitzvah Corps before January 5, you will receive $200 off your tuition cost with our Early Action Discount. If you are planning to attend one of our programs, why not register today? The early bird always gets the worm.
#2: Get Access to Matching Scholarship Funds
When you register for Mitzvah Corps, we will give you access to our scholarship application. In addition to giving need-based scholarship, we will match any scholarship money that you have secured from your congregation or federation. If your synagogue gives you $200, we’ll give you $200 more.
#3: First Time at a Jewish Camp? Apply for One Happy Camper!
Is this your first experience with a Jewish overnight camp? If yes, you are eligible for the One Happy Camper grant from your local federation. Each Federation has different rules, but you will be eligible for up to $1,000 in scholarship funds for your Mitzvah Corps summer!
#4: Create a Personal Fundraising Goal
We at Mitzvah Corps understand the financial burden of summer camp and travel programs, and know that securing scholarship can sometimes be challenging. So, we decided to create a personal fundraising toolkit, which we will provide you when you register for any Mitzvah Corps program! This toolkit will give you everything you need to start your own GoFundMe campaign, and we will support you along the way.
#5: Try Steps 1-4 Risk-Free!
Your deposit for Mitzvah Corps is fully refundable until February 15. Register for your favorite program, receive $200 off your tuition before January 5, and explore all the resources we will provide you! If you cannot financially make the summer work before the start of your program, we will refund your deposit.
Registration for Mitzvah Corps’ summer 2017 is underway. Do you know a teen who wants to make a difference? Introduce us! Participants who sign up by January 5, 2017 will receive at least $200 off the cost of their program.
Can’t wait until summer? Teens and youth professionals are invited to join us in Chicago, February 17-20, at NFTY Convention for opportunities to network, learn, and be inspired.
