  • Civil Rights Journey: A Tale of Two Plantations

    The plantations we visited yesterday couldn’t have been more different. One promoted the lives of the people who suffered from slavery; the other showed the benefits to slave owners. All in all, this day signified the contrast in how far our discussions about slavery have come and how far we still need to go.
